Q. What style and size home do you build?
A. Chiusano Homes has considerable experience in building homes of varying sizes, styles and price ranges. Various factors such as location, environment, buyer priorities and budget are instrumental in determining the type, style and price range of a home. Additionally, we try to stay current on trends in homebuilding.
Q. Do you use brand name products in your homes?
A. Yes, our preference is to use brand name products in all of our homes. This allows the buyer to have confidence in the quality of the products, while enjoying the benefit of an established company’s warranty.
Q. Can I visit my home while it is under construction?
A. Chiusano Homes appreciates that buyers are excited about their home’s progress. However, buyers can visit their homes while it is under construction by appointment only. Once an appointment has been set, the buyer can tour the home with a Chiusano Homes employee. Safety for our customer and those working on the house is a prime concern. Due to construction site hazards, this is the only way for a buyer to view the home without additional risk.
Q. Are you familiar with “green” building?
A. Principals of Chiusano Homes include two Certified Green Professionals and a LEED Green Associate. We have the knowledge and practical experience to help you achieve a more sustainable, efficient home through the National Green Building Standard certification process. The Standard establishes practices for the design and construction of green residential buildings, building sites, subdivisions and renovations.
Chiusano Homes was awarded “Best Green Home – Single Family Detached” by the Builders League of South Jersey at the 2012 Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence (MAME) presentation dinner for the home it built at 427 Lakeview in Haddonfield.
Q. Where do you build?
A. We have built primarily in South Jersey but we are always looking to expand. If you or someone you know has a property you think we might be interested in, visit the Land Wanted section of our website.
Q. Will you build a home on a lot I own?
A. Yes, we can build your home on a lot you own. We encourage you, however, to utilize our services and experience to make sure that the property you buy allows the size and type of home you want to build. Conditions and restrictions will vary from lot to lot and town to town.
Q. Will you help us find a lot for you to build our home on?
A. Yes, we are in constant communication with brokers and landowners about prospective properties. We own, know of or can find a property that fits your needs in a location you desire.
Q. Can you build us a home from a plan we bring to you?
A. Yes, we can use a design you bring us, a design we have used before or develop a new design with you.
